Dan McLaughlin

A south St. Louis native, McLaughlin called his first major league baseball game at age 23. His play-by-play work on Cardinals baseball earned him numerous Mid-America Emmy Awards and nominations. McLaughlin began his professional broadcasting career at KMOX Radio in St. Louis. His experience working with the legendary Jack Buck and his relationships with other acclaimed broadcasters has helped lead McLaughlin to be one of the most well-known sports voices in the midwest.

McLaughlin has also called SLU Billikens and Missouri Valley Conference basketball game telecasts. He has served as a play-by-play announcer for the NFL and other MLB games on FOX Sports as well. Earlier in his career, he served as host for St. Louis Blues hockey coverage.

McLaughlin is involved in several local charities and, each October, hosts the Dan McLaughlin Golf Tournament to benefit the Special Education Foundation, which has raised more than $4 million for children with disabilities.

McLaughlin is a 1996 graduate of Lindenwood University, where he played baseball on scholarship. He is an avid golfer and outdoor sportsman. Dan, his wife Libby and four children make their home in St. Louis.
