Jim Edmonds was just an incredible talent. He had nearly 1,200 rbi, 393 homeruns, a .284 career batting and took home 8 Gold Gloves. Originally, he was drafted in the seventh round of the 1988 MLB draft by the Anaheim Angels. In 2000, he was traded to St. Louis for Kent Bottenfield and Adam Kennedy. The trade was one of the best in Cardinals history.
